Wisla offset to be signed

On the 26th of March 2019, at 14.00 hours, the signing of offset agreements concerning the 1st stage of Wisla contract will take place in Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne S.A. Documents will be signed by Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa and Lockheed Martin. Mariusz Blaszczak, Minister of Defence will be present during the signing ceremony.

Wisla programme will provide Polish Armed Forces with medium range anti-aircraft and anti-missile launchers together with the net-centric command system. According to the decision made by the Ministry of Defence, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa will become the main beneficiary of the technology transfer connected to the 1st stage of Wisla programme. The agreement is a direct result of negotiations between Lockheed Martin and PGZ-WISLA consortium. The offset obligations confirmed by Lockheed Martin will be completed together with 5 member-companies of the PGZ-WISLA: Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne, Wojskowe Zakłady Uzbrojenia, Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze nr 1 and Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze nr 2.  Agreements encompass 15 offset obligations concerning mainly production capabilities of selected elements of PAC-3 MSE missiles, production, and servicing of certain elements of launchers, and improvement of servicing capabilities of Polish Armed Forces air fleet. Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa will also create a laboratory for missiles simulations.
